Role Title: Senior Financial Analyst III
Job Duration: 3 months contract
Work Location: Austin, TX Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)Work Schedule: Normal CST Hours, Monday - Friday
Project Overview:
Financial Analysts ensure that the client makes sound financial decisions. As a key Cloud Sales Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or consolidating numbers from other teams, is used by our Sales & Finance leaders to make strategic decisions. Excellent at working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to address big picture challenges.The GTM Finance planning team ensures that Cloud Sales makes sound financial decisions while they deliver business results! We are a critical partner and independent advisor to the Cloud teams (both Finance & Business) on Revenue Planning efforts across all of Client. As a client's Cloud Finance teammate - you will work with leaders (across Sales, Operations, and Finance) who value the impact and influence Finance brings to the table, and who leverage our insights to make the most strategic decisions.Cloud is a strategic priority for client. We develop groundbreaking cloud solutions, including client Cloud Platform and client Workspace, helping clients transform.
Overall Responsibilities:
Help own and drive the consolidation of the Revenue planning efforts across Google Cloud (GCP, Workspace, other products)Pull data, consolidate, structure tables, etc.
Assist with Quota deployment data and setting up files to share with Regional teams
Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, and Finance.
Contribute to the Revenue planning process across Operations, Finance, and Regional teams quota deployment
Optimize and automate financial processes, collaborating with the Finance team and promoting systems innovations with new tools.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Help support the overall consolidation of the GCP Core AOP modeling via data tables, etc.
Assist with the GCP Core model for deployment and support the broader planning team
Support ad hoc requests and help the planning team on overall planning efforts.
Skill/Experience/EducationMandatory:
5 years relevant experience in finance FP&A, management consulting, corporate strategy. Comfortable with pulling data using SQL (3 Years), Financial Consolidation, Financial Modeling, Revenue/Topline Experience Technical experience in using Google Sheets
Skills / Core Competencies: Finance, Data Analytics, Analytical Thinking
Desired:
Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry is a strong plus.
Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment; comfortable with ambiguity.
Ability to communicate, influence and form strong working relationships at executive level Data Science Background
Education: BA/BS in a Business or Technical related field, MBA Preferred
