About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to lead spend management across the organization. The team member will partner with business stakeholders to forecast and track headcount and operating expenditures as well as advise on future budgeting. Knowledge of forecasting models and processes and understanding business drivers are key requirements for this position. Ultimately, you will help stakeholders understand their spend and ensure that expenses align with business objectives.

The Team

Auctane’s Finance team is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives, generating insights into business performance, and leading financial decisions across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders by providing effective decision-making support to drive long-term business performance.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support management in effectively understanding and managing the performance of the business. This role will help provide strategic and tactical support to facilitate management reporting, assist the budgeting / forecasting process, and communicate targets as well as develop drivers-based financial models. A collaborative team player with proactive communication and attention to detail are key requirements for this position.

What will you be doing?

• Developing financial forecasts and budgets to track headcount and operating expenses for business stakeholders
• Analyzing and reporting on variances to forecast and budget; identifying areas of risks or opportunity for improvement
• Researching expenses and helping the business manage to budgets from Anaplan and Netsuite
• Coordinating with the rest of the FP&A team to produce monthly forecasts and long-term financial plans
• Reviewing accounting transactions and HR reports for data accuracy
• Establishing financial policies and maintaining confidentiality of financial information and decisions

What are we looking for?

• Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial systems ( Anaplan and Netsuite experience is a plus).
• Define process and templates with ability to coordinate, communicate steps to gather information
• Excellent analytical skills, a proactive communicator and self-starter
• Ability to present financial data using reports and charts and communicate results clearly
• ​Strong written and oral interpersonal skills
• Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work

Required Education

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

The Tech

• Expert in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas),
• Experience with Financial systems (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive) and Accounting software (e.g. Anaplan) a plus
• Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slide, etc.)
