About the Role
Are you a high performing analytical and collaborative individual with a love for pets? Nulo is seeking a talented FP&A analyst to join our finance team. This role is within the Finance department and will support the FP&A function on company financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. This includes supporting our company-wide annual forecasting as well as our monthly and quarterly reporting to investors and BOD, respectively. This position would play a key role in developing and monitoring key KPIs across our channels and products and identifying areas for improvement for business success. This is an opportunity to make a high impact and influence strategic decision making on senior level finance executives.
What you’ll do:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of our monthly financial results reporting and analysis to provide senior leadership with insights on variances, trends, and potential risks and opportunities.
    • Analyze performance at both the segment and consolidated level.
    • Support management in the production of presentations for internal and external stakeholders including our BOD and investors.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing visibility on growth, profitability and liquidity at the consolidated and channel level.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, while providing financial guidance and support for our functional leaders to dissect spend and track back to forecast.
    • Coordinate with key cross functional partners to derive financial forecast including our operational teams.
  • Strategic Cross-Functional Initiatives and Ad Hoc Projects:
    • Evaluate a range of potential strategic and operational cases for impact on our consolidated financials, for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support deep dives and initiatives across the P&L to improve financial results.
What we are looking for:
  • 1-3 years of finance experience (FP&A, Investment Banking, Accounting, VC/PE, and/or Management Consulting).
  • Analytical mindset with superb communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Intellectually curious and ability to problem solve.
  • Outstanding work ethic, demonstrating dedication and persistence in achieving results.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Preferred knowledge of Netsuite.
  • CPG experience is a plus.
