ResProp Management is Hiring a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis Near Austin, TX

What you'll do:

  • Develop and market Avesta Homes asset management client services as a greenfield business venture, including value proposition, scope design, recurring reporting and processes, owner expectation, goal-tracking, and contract negotiation (20%)
  • Design and manage corporate P&L and Cash Flow Statement, assisting executive leadership in decision-making that promotes revenue optimization, expense allocation and control, and company growth within a multi-entity corporate structure (20%)
  • Responsible for overall business analytics initiatives, focusing on financial and operational benchmarking and new initiatives cash flow projections. Able to create ad hoc reports as needed (20%)
  • Manage Avesta Homes Financial Planning and Analysis team (employee coaching & development, performance reviews, and day to day oversight) (15%)
  • Responsible for Avesta Homes financial reporting to investors and real estate property owners. Ensures financial reports comprehensiveness, accuracy, and promptness (5%)
  • Manage annual and ongoing asset budgeting & forecasting processes, along with budget variance analysis and reporting. Able to create property-level budget to support new business (10%)
  • Oversee Avesta Homes Revenue Management processes, maintenance, oversight, and systems implementations. Able to manage all pricing, system maintenance, and vendor troubleshooting (10%)
  • This position supervises at least 2 subordinates and directly reports to the Vice President of Operations.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Data Science and 3 years of experience as Financial Managers
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily asset or portfolio management, specifically in fee managed business model;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily asset budgeting and forecasting experience including payroll, debt services, and cash flow modeling;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily real estate revenue management including software implementation (Yieldstar preferred), pricing oversight, employee training, ongoing system maintenance and triage, and ownership interfacing;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in preparation and outbrief of financial reports and analysis to investors and company executives;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in property management operations experience including: develop benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance; develop and enhance necessary dashboards to track health metrics and business performance to drive short and long-term business decisions;
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in corporate profit and loss responsibility including payroll forecasting, expense management, and revenue oversight; and
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading and managing teams including employee coaching & development, performance reviews, and day to day oversight.
  • Travel 20% - 50% of the time, at least once a month to support property locations/businesses (supporting conference or client meetings) within the domestic U.S.
