We are searching for friendly, reliable, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in an upscale, team-oriented restaurant environment. We are looking for a creative and proficient candidate in all aspects of Asian food preparation and presentation as well as staff management.
2 years of experience in an Asian restaurant required. Stir fry cook experience is a plus.
Full-time position. 60k salary , plus bonus/benefits.

Responsibilities
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Track, record, and maintain inventory stock including foods, beverages, and kitchen supplies
Order and arrange pickup or delivery of foods for the week
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and Guests
Skills
Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs
Follows all steps and techniques to ensure consistency of product and recipes
Remains tidy and clean by maintaining a sanitary, food-safe workstation at all times
