Role Summary:
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for company-wide technology support and operational activities encompassing applications, infrastructure, communications, and security. They will support multiple subsidiary organizations located throughout North America.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact daily by phone, email, web, and face-to-face with business users and stakeholders to respond to user requests, understand business needs, troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and courteous manner.
Installing updates, patches and upgrades to end user machines to ensure proper security, protection and compliance.
Level 1/2/3 desktop and application support.Support of Windows 10/11, Office 365 with productivity apps, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
Working within the Office 365 administration console.Security activities including management of user accounts, security and distribution groups, etc.Experience working with LogMeIn, AnyDesk or other similar remote support tools.
Technical knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware, mobile devices, VoIP, printers and A/V systems.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and Group Policies.Support of printers and print servers.Experience with iOS devices.
Backup and restore activities from on-premise and cloud utilities.
Troubleshooting and support of networked devices (computers, switches, routers, etc.).
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in engagement with multiple management levels across technical users and business units.
Familiarity with ticketing / issue tracking systems.
Technical Support Specialist 2/3
MacOS experience a plus.
Experience with supporting ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 or greater.
Citrix remote application support.
Critical skills and abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, client relationship skills, and the ability to workeffectively in a technical team environment and across management levels within the business.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Extensive technical knowledge, troubleshooting and support of Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and otherenterprise applications.
Ability to follow relevant departmental procedures.
Understanding of user & security administration concepts and best practices.
Operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment.
Work Experience:
4 years experience in similar role or IT-related field.
Experience supporting a 24×7 environment.
Prior work experience within finance or aviation sectors a plus.
Education:
2 or 4-year degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or related area is required.A , Network , Security , or Microsoft certifications are desirable.

Required demands include:
Must be able to sit at desk for an eight-hour shift (with intermittent movement).
See, hear, and communicate with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper jobsafety conditions.
Must be alert and aware of surrounding for safety concerns.

Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is an office setting. As Air T, Inc. is a holding company for various subsidiaries, the incumbent may be exposed to various environments during business travel. The incumbent must also follow all applicable safety procedures.
