Look no further than Advantage. We're currently seeking a full-time Senior Accountant for our Corporate Office in the scenic South Hills area of Pittsburgh.

About the Role

As our Senior Accountant, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact every day through a wide range of general accounting duties. You'll handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, journal entries and account reconciliations, all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

What You'll Do

• Prepare accurate & timely financial statements.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies & summarize financial results.
• Perform balance sheet, revenue, expense and payroll account reconciliations.
• Execute the A/P process including invoice coding, disbursements and vendor resolution.
• Review & balance all inter-company transactions.
• Oversee the payroll process.
• Coordinate & assist with the preparation of the budget & analyze monthly variances.
• Recommend ways to improve departmental efficiencies, systems and procedures.

About You

• You hold a BS Accounting is required and 3-5 years accounting experience, healthcare setting preferred.

• You a thorough knowledge of FASB accounting principles and procedures.

• You have experience with General Ledger functions, month-end closing and A/P and P/R processes.

• You can demonstrate proficiency with computerized GL, AR/Revenue and Payroll systems.

• You demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• You are attentive to details/deadlines and are able to prioritize and multi-task.

• You must have the ability to work independently, as well as, function as a team me

• Advanced knowledge of Excel including V-lookups and Pivot tables.
