Advanced Heart and Rhythm is Hiring a Front Office Receptionist Near Dallas, TX

We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist and an Office Coordinator at a Cardiology private practice office. This person will help manage our front desk on a daily basis full time. They will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including checking in patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, helping with medical records, and some pre-authorizations. These duties include offering administrative support across the organization. To be successful in this position, you should have a pleasant personality, work well with others, and have great customer service skills. We are looking forward to meeting you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Maintains presence at the front desk area.

2 Registers new patients at time of check-in and enters data in computer system.

3 Insures all established patients have updated and accurate demographic information.

4 Requests co-pay and coinsurance from patients at time of arrival.

5 Provide support for all in-coming calls to the clinic.

7 Prepares charts/paperwork for next day’s patients.

8 Calculates and totals charge amount; collects co-pays and deductibles, informs patient of the charge for services.

9 Medical records/ Pre-Authorizations on testing

10 Performs other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1 High school diploma or equivalent.

2 Fluently speak, read, and write English.

3 Understanding of OSHA requirements in a clinical setting.

4 Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
