AD1 Global, a successful Hospitality Management Company is looking for an AP Specialist to manage all accounts payable duties, plus check disbursements. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for services completed by the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages AP. Includes, Customer Vendor Relations, and the AP disbursement group which handles all check disbursements
• Registers invoices and processes checks.
• Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Review all final statements for accuracy, make necessary corrections, and send to clients in a timely manner.
• Process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing.

Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 2 years’ experience in AP/AR can substitute for educational requirement. Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.
• Advanced mathematical and logical deduction skills.

• Experience with customer service and client communication.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Spanish)
• Ability to communicate courteously and proactively with all levels within the company.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with M3 a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
