A busy and growing company operating a network of outpatient surgery centers is searching for an experienced AR/AP Specialist to join the team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Pay all supplier and vendor invoices in a timely manner.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.
• Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9's for tax reporting.
• Make sure expenses are charged to correct accounts and cost centers.
• Ensure that receivables are collected promptly and entered into QuickBooks in line with financial policies.
• Assist with account analysis and provide support for month-end closing activities.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank & credit card statements.
• Assist in coordinating the preparation and compilation of year-end reporting, and audits for CPA.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in other day to day activities as assigned.

Experience and qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in Payable Specialist and Accounts Receivable
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of account reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with debits and credits.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellence in service attitude.
• Tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience working for a surgery center or healthcare facility is a plus!
