One of the global materials distribution companies in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for new Accountant to join the team.

The main responsibility for this position is to manage and prepare financial reporting of the US operations at the company. This position will also work with external auditors to complete an annual audit review and provide support for all state, local, and federal taxes. Administration will be required for internal aspects of the company such as negotiating for business insurance, health/vision/dental insurance, as well as payroll.

Responsibilities for Accounting Manager:

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, supporting working papers and all ongoing activities (receipts, disbursements)
• Manage cash flow requirements, projecting monthly cash balances, receipts and disbursements
• Bank reconciliation with various trust, commission, and operating bank account
• Credit card reconciliation, charging and posting
• Bank deposits and payments to vendors
• Calculate and process monthly management fees for all properties. Create invoices and save them for Financial Statement packages.
• Manage office expenses, prepare invoices, transfer funds and make postings
• Create superintendent invoices from Sage, send to AP for inputting as payable
• Responsible for accurate and effective processing of AR transactions including preparing and entering AR invoices, working with organizational partners to obtain details of customers and invoices required, applying payments received, and investigating variance
• Handle administrative aspects of the billing process including invoice generation, payment processing, sending reminders, receipts and correspondences
• Ensure timely response to questions from registrants, customers, and staff
• Prepare and reviews AR aging report, and reconciles accounts receivable balance to general ledger

Requirements for Accounting Manager:

• Minimum 2Years of general accounting Experience professionally
• Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Business
• Ability to follow and manage policies, processes, and standards
• Expertise in Excel or Data Modeling
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external accounting matters.
• SAGE100 Accounting System Experience is a plus
• ERP System Management Experience is a plus, but not required
