JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Junior Designer at Oodle, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of projects — honing your skills and learning from experienced mentors along the way. From developing captivating social media graphics to assisting in the creation of compelling marketing materials, you will play an important role on our creative team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the design team, assisting in tasks related to asset creation, layout design, or content entry.

• File Preparation and Optimization: Prepare digital files for different platforms, ensuring proper formatting, resolution, and optimization for web and mobile use.

• Image Editing and Enhancement: Assist in basic image editing tasks, such as resizing, cropping, and minor retouching, under the guidance of senior team members.

• Learning Design Tools: Familiarize yourself with design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools to develop skills necessary for digital design tasks.

• Internal Creative Reviews: Develop and present design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes to senior designers for critiques and reviews — incorporating feedback to refine designs.

• Quality and Efficiency: Execute design tasks efficiently while maintaining brand consistency across all projects and platforms, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design and incorporate them into daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree or relevant certification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and apply it to improve design work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a focus on creating high-quality work
• Eagerness to grow and learn.
