DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS
This position is responsible for oversight and coordination of clinical trials. This individual will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of chart review and follow-up activities in the data coordinating center. Responsible for the oversight and coordination of clinical trials, management and database management
Duties:
- Consistently demonstrates support for compliance in the performance of job duties and responsibilities by developing and maintaining knowledge of, and performing job functions in compliance with, rules, regulations, policies, and statutes, maintaining knowledge of and performing job functions in compliance with policies and procedures, and reporting compliance concerns in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Be a regulatory resource for investigators in supporting their work.
- Design, develop and implement additional databases.
- Development of Manuals of Operations and Statistical Analysis Plans and collaborates with Data Coordinating Center in Case Report Form design.
- Hire and manage staff hired for the scientific lead requested databases.
- Interface with FDA/IRB and regulatory bodies on investigator initiated studies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Healthcare field or Life Sciences.
- 10 years of experience within Phase I-IV clinical trials and knowledge of medical field.
- Excellent working knowledge of FDA, ICH, GCP, and other regulatory functions.
- Strong knowledge of CRO structure and processes.
- Previous management experience.
