Responsibilities

• Part-time contract role, showroom based - Tues / Weds / Thurs 9am 5pm, with some evening events and occasionally need to trade a day based on showroom calendar of events.
• Support event marketing, event planning and creating a one of a kind experience for consumers, the trade and resellers
• Meet and greet customers who enter the showroom / provide information and assistance to ensure a professional and positive experience for customers.
• Answer incoming customer calls regarding products, programs, service and general client concerns
• Produce reports and presentations.
• Maintain an organized and efficient showroom - ensure showroom is customer facing, beverage and undercounter wine units stocked, dishwashers unloaded, and space is tidy for guests.
• Host lunch / dinner Chef led cooking demonstrations, outreach, confirmation, follow up, help clearing plates and load in dishwasher.
• Order all supplies for showroom; amazon, Office Depot, staples
• ADD all MDC events to event list and metric card .
• Work with website team to make sure MDC website events / demos are up to date quarterly.
• Prospect new design / architect firms / builders via email weekly to inquire about a lunch and learn at the showroom and / or us hosting a lunch and learn at their studio

Requirements

3 years’ in marketing, event marketing, project management or proven customer support experience

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint

Exemplary planning and time management skills

Up-to-date with advancements in office gadgets and applications

Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

Excellent verbal / written communications skills and creative thinker

Social media experience is a PLUS
