Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects within our organization. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. This position is responsible for formulation, management, and implementation of Port Capital Plan programs that relate to the planning, development, and delivery of civil, structural, electrical, architectural, and environmental projects that support regional maritime operations, intermodal facilities, roadways, and related facilities.
Duties:
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Utilize project management methodologies such as PMBOK to effectively manage projects
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables
- Conduct regular meetings with project team members to review progress and address any challenges
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Supervise project team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with product management teams to align project objectives with overall business goals
Skills:
- Strong program development skills
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Trello, SharePoint, and Confluence
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development processes
- Excellent budgeting and financial management skills
