What the role entails

  • Create & execute on approved national business plan/strategy.
  • Pursue project specifications, quotes, or inquiries from various customers including corporate accounts, public agency reps, contractors, and manufacturer reps with the aim to close orders for ACO ShowerDrain products on that specific project or line of inquiry.
  • Obtain a sound working knowledge of all ACO ShowerDrain products.
  • Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.
  • Review various lead sources with the ISR team for ACO ShowerDrain products, identify possible opportunities, switch out to ACO ShowerDrain if competitor is written into specifications/standard.
  • Identify the lead (who, what, where) and contact representation agency to discuss.
  • Target new scalable business opportunities of substance, fill the funnel.
  • Cultivate relationships with local plumbing contractors to support and service ACO ShowerDrain Products.
  • Educate and empower local tiling/flooring contractors to prefer and motivate ACO ShowerDrain Products.
  • Maintain Sales Management System (SMS/MS Dynamics) by entering accurate data and relevant information into MCE’s, API’s, and PDI’s along with follow up information.
  • Train and manage Manufacturer’s Reps or showroom/wholesale accounts who assist ACO to sell ACO ShowerDrain products nationally.
  • Search with ISR team using available tools (Google, CMD, Reed, and LinkedIn) to maximize potential.
  • Assist and enable the Architects/Engineers (A&E) Community to specify ACO ShowerDrain Products
  • Attend and set up relevant trade shows as required.
  • Travel as necessary

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, construction science, or other related discipline required.
  • A minimum of five years previous sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on specification/construction or business is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend daily.
  • Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
  • Ability to operate a computer for 1-2 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.

Applicants can live in any state as long as they are located nearby to a major airport hub.

$100,000-$115,000 plus Commissions
