NIGHTLIFE MANAGER

A cultural icon club located in Noho, ACME is synonymous with the downtown art and fashion crowd of NYC’s social set, hosting an in-the-know cocktail bar, private events, and late-night parties with industry leading DJs. 
ACME, is currently seeking an expereinced Nighltlife Manager to oversee staff , and the overall operations of the club. The ideal candidate must have prior management experience in a fast-paced nightlife environment.

The required schedule for this position is 3 days a week - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:30pm to 4:30am.

As the Nightlife Manager of ACME , Some Responsibilities Will Include:

• Provide a strong presence on the floor and high attention to detail.
• Work alongside the door person to curate good energy in the room.
• Manage table booking inquires.
• Must be able to deescalate conflict with calm and empathy during high pressure moments, keeping a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Stay in constant communication with security throughout hours of operation
• Monitoring the security team and address any issues with their management.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Schedule DJ's, assist with their invoicing, communicate musical directives, and troubleshoot issues with sound/DJ equipment.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Recruit, train, and schedule staff
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
• Oversee club maintenance and inform management of any needed repairs
• Demonstrate excellent guest recognition/retention skills
• Stay up to date, network, and maintain connections with regulars
• Maintain professional Nightlife image, including cleanliness, and appearance standards

 Position Requirements:

• 5 years management experience in a fast paced nightlife environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Knowledge of 7 Rooms, 7 Shifts, Toast platforms
