The Work: 

• Kick-start your career in our Software Engineering Boot Camp to learn the latest technical skills in object-oriented programming
• Experiment and be an early adopter of emerging technologies and next-generation IT
• Act as a detective, looking closely at software to make sure everything’s working to specification
• Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas
• Keep well-written records describing how software works, any special configurations and how to troubleshoot basic issues
• Work collaboratively with your teammates to implement technology solutions to support the US federal government

Here’s what you need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field OR 4 Years of active military experience OR Completion of AFS recognized training program (i.e. CodeUp) OR 1 Year of Development Experience in lieu of a degree

Bonus Points if:

• Demonstrate experience with multiple programming languages, modern frameworks, architectures, databases, and cloud platforms
• Have internship or academic experience with programming languages (Java, Perl, Python, Ruby)
