North Point Technology is looking for TS/SCI Cleared Software Engineers to develop a state-of-the-art of Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. You will build and maintain an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

You will work in collaboration to enhance the analysis system leveraging proprietary capabilities. You shall collaborate on the integration of capabilities from different systems. Additionally, you will collaborate on the design, development, testing and integration. This program requires employees pass a CI Poly every 5 years. If you have a Full Scope Poly, working this program will keep your Full Scope ACTIVE.

About the Job:

• Role as a Front-end Software Engineer who is self-motivated to deliver solutions and integrate with the backend teams and test teams
• Contribute to the design, development, test, and integration of many components within a microservice architecture
• Hybrid schedule with accommodating team environment

Applicants should be self-motivated, fast-paced, curious problem solvers with a BS in Computer Science or related field, plus the following skills/experience:

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience as a software developer or software engineer with at least one programming language
• User interface development experience programming in Angular, React, Svelte, or similar framework
• Experience creating and maintaining web applications and integration with backend teams
• Experience with HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, etc

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with tailwind
• Experience building and configuring CI pipelines (Gitlab & Jenkins)
• Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs including REST & SOAP
• DBA knowledge: Oracle, MarkLogic, Postgres, Mongo
• Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana
• Experience with AWS environments
• Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
• Understanding of GIS concepts (ESRI tools)
