The Role:

We are seeking a tenured HR professional to fill our Human Resources Manager position. In this role, you will manage the daily operational needs of the HR department as well as be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities. You will collaborate with other teams to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business initiatives. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.

A Day in the Life:

  • cycle recruitment: Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring qualified job applicants for internal AE positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • new hire orientation as well as an on-boarding/off-boarding plan for all hires.
  • discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • bi-weekly payroll and all administrative duties required to maintain payroll and HRIS system
  • knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • with various benefit providers to manage and administer benefits programs serving as primary contact with providers
  • tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and affirmative action/EEO compliance
  • prepares, generates, and analyzes ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to employee personnel
  • Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

Strategic Duties/Responsibilities:

  • with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • leaders to lead their teams, navigate difficult situations, and resolve employee relations issues.
  • and manages a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
  • the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management. Identifies trends that could affect organizational objectives and/or operational resources.

What You’ll Need:

  • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
