PRIMARY OBJECTIVE 
Main objective is to provide a safe, clean, and pleasant workplace for all employees and guests.

Candidate will provide facilities support services to all levels of personnel in the organization.

Candidate performs daily walkthrough inspections of assigned general office areas for:
 Review business critical mechanical equipment areas ensuring systems are operating properly and
within established parameters. Inspections to include Life Safety items HVAC equipment, UPS
Systems, Freeze Protection, etc. 
 Review BMS system for alarms and respond accordingly. 
 Review cleanliness based on report from evening cleaning personnel. 
 Report any lights out that are required to the Help Desk.
 Assist in all setups and breakdowns for events.
 Move heavy items as required (boxes, furniture, etc.)
 Inspect pantry areas ensuring equipment is operational – replace filters as required on set schedule,
dating accordingly. 
 Inspect core and private restrooms for cleanliness and operation of fixtures (flushometers, faucets, soap
dispensers, towel dispensers, partition doors, etc.) 
 Perform periodic services as directed, (cleaning sink “P” traps, prime floor drains, sanitize ice machines,
clean appliance condensers, etc. 
 Provide a daily report of services provided and an “end of week” report of chronic or unresolved items
for upper management’s review. 
 Respond to employee complaints and comfort concerns related to temperature control system.
 Replace ceiling tiles, repair door hardware as needed. 
 Inspect stairwells, storage areas, to ensure organization, cleanliness and proper inventories.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION 
 Ability to recognize and repair deficiencies in office furniture.
 Basic knowledge of the proper use of hand tools, basic power tools and recognize various hardware
and methods of repair for related tasks.
 Good communication skills and maintain a professional attitude representative of the Facilities
Management department at all times.
 Ability to lift heavy objects and follow OSHA safety rules and regulations.

 Ability to understand contractor services to provide follow up inspections on a daily basis. 
 Fire guard training course.
 Basic knowledge of blueprint and construction documents necessary including recognition of General
Construction, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing drawings.
 Must be organized and perform various unsupervised assignments in an orderly, safe and professional
manner.
 Must be able to conduct daily {morning and afternoon} inspections in a timely manner.
 Must be punctual.
 Must be able to work all shift coverage assignments.
 Must be able to work OT as required

ACCOUNTABILITY
Must be able to work well with various individuals within the organization at various management and clerical
levels. Must be able to recognize building related deficiencies and initiate repairs, where possible, in a timely
manner. Must be able to complete assignments as directed and in a timely manner. 

This position reports into the Senior Director of Facilities at 1515 Broadway, in turn, to the Vice President Facilities
Operations, Paramount Global Corporate who is to be updated on all reports.
