We’re currently looking for a maintenance professional who can take initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. A maintenance technician often needs to communicate effectively with tenants, visitors and anyone else he or she encounters on the job.

• Ownership Mentality: Take pride and ownership in each work order. The ideal candidate would enjoy working autonomously most of the time, but also willing to work as part of a team. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to; performing a range of property maintenance items, scheduling work orders according to priority, evaluating, repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building
• Wall construction, repair and painting.
• Communicate with Maintenance Coordinator about any work that requires outside expert assistance
• Receive and respond to tenant reports of maintenance issues on their premises
• Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
• Maintain safety procedures at all times while complying with access control regulations
• Perform diagnostics as well as repairs on malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures
• Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in good working order
• Follow inspection and repair schedules
• Perform administrative computer tasks, as needed

Requirements

Skills Needed to Win:

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience
• Strong critical thinking and problem skills

• Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
• Adaptive to change and willingness to be a lifelong learner
• A team player that is willing to work independently most of the day
