Mid-sized privately held manufacturing company with a headquarters location in Essex County, NJ is seeking a strong Sr. Cost Accountant to add to their team. This is a NEW position to the team due to the growth of the organization. This HANDS-ON position will be responsible for Month End Close, Inventory, product costing, WIP, and budgeting. Looking for an accounting degree and 3 years of strong hands-on accounting experience working in mid-size companies. Any experience with cost accounting is a major plus in a manufacturing company but will also consider strong general accountants with a desire to learn cost accounting. Strong excel experience required. The company offers a competitive compensation package in the $80-110K range depending on experience and including good benefits. Very nice office location in Essex County, NJ and the company is onsite 5x a week.
