Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an interim Senior Cost Accountant. In this contract engagement, you will act as the costing subject matter expert on all costing inquiries and analysis.RESPONSIBILITIES- Finish assigned processes, procedures and workflows within corporate guidelines and check for compliance with internal and external requirements- Analyze cost records and calculation of unit cost for products or services related to a specific job or project; examines any costs that seem contrary to experience- Prepare explanations and analysis in response to costing queries- Perform analysis of standard versus actual costs to identify variances- Develop and implement cost accounting methods and procedures- Analyze and generate costing audits and cost reports
