We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and take charge of designing and refining mechanical systems and components. Your pivotal role involves crafting precise technical drawings and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure the seamless production of our current and future product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software like OnShape and Solidworks to create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and part designs.
• Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate drawings in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Transform conceptual models into practical and manufacturable product designs.
• Conduct design reviews to address potential issues related to manufacturability and performance.
• Document existing manufacturing processes thoroughly and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement enhancements to boost productivity, quality, and safety.
• Design new manufacturing processes for upcoming products, emphasizing efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain ISO 9000 compliance by managing processes and documentation.
• Create and manage engineering documentation, including BOMs and ECOs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless product development and implementation.
• Apply lean methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
• Engage employees in continuous improvement initiatives and provide training as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in design/mechanical engineering, with a focus on new product development and documentation.
• Previous experience in designing heavy-duty industrial products is preferred.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and ERP systems is essential.
• Experience with Syteline is advantageous.
