We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our clients finance team. As an integral part of our organization, the Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and budget forecasts.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Prepare tax returns and assist in tax planning strategies.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
• Expertise in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
