BASIC SUMMARY:

Fiddler’s Creek is an award-winning, private, master-planned community featuring exceptional luxury residences in a beautiful tropical setting, located between Naples and Marco Island. The Club and Spa at Fiddler’s Creek, an upscale private club is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our team of technicians and maintenance personnel. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire Clubhouse facility, Clubhouse grounds upkeep, and contracted services such as construction/improvement, general building maintenance, custodial, pool, HVAC and corporate offices.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance work is completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Proficiently utilize, monitor, control, and report, existing maintenance assistance software (currently Maintain X).
  • Oversee daily handling of repairs and work orders.
  • Ensure work orders are being completed by the team, and the team has good direction when not on site.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the Clubhouse facility and grounds are well maintained.
  • Assess, through historical notes, experience or through a third party, the lifespan of existing equipment for accurate capital expense reporting.
  • Coordinate small construction projects from inception to completion following company contract process.
  • Plan and oversee all contracted services, including construction/improvement, general building maintenance, custodial, pool, and HVAC services.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and contracted services.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations,
  • Utilizing specific manufacturers recommendations for equipment for cleaning and developing a general maintenance program.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and equipment to enhance maintenance operations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments within the club to ensure all maintenance needs are met.
  • Handle special projects and other job duties as assigned.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
/OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual with Spanish, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to sit at desk, walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and

the ability to adjust focus.

  • Specific hearing abilities include ability to hear and understand spoken word in person, on the telephone and/or on the computer.
