Job Description: CDSS Developers shall provide Special Operations and Combat Support (SW/CS) subject matter expertise to enhance the accomplishment of Air Force’s SW/CS requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide an overall assessment of the potential for success of all SW/CS candidates in the Delayed Enlistment Program (DEP) to the CDSS PM so that it may be included in the monthly report provided to the AF SW/CS Program Manager. (This requires administrative capabilities to include phone, email, data entry, and contacting Candidates weekly.)
  • Administration of Pre-Accession IFTs and development events. Contractor is responsible for providing a minimum of five (5) scheduled IFT per month and securing locations for administering the IFT. (This requires long hours of standing and extensive travel to various locations – driving and flying.)
  • As a part of an overall development plan, Field CDSS Developers need to be available to directly assist each candidate with safety, nutrition, physical fitness workout plans, mental resiliency, and use of safe and proper exercise techniques.
  • Maintain a degree of personal fitness. Contractor needs to lead by example in this area. Specifically, the contractor must be able to maintain a level of physical fitness to demonstrate proper techniques and exercise tactics to all applicants/candidates.
  • Possess the ability to demonstrate and explain all points of performance for exercises included in the PAST.
IFT Exercises Include:
  • 2 x 25-meter Underwater Swims
  • 500-meter Swim (Freestyle, Breaststroke, Sidestroke)
  • 1.5-mile run
  • 2 min – Push-ups
  • 2 min – Sit-ups
  • 2 min – Pull-ups
  • Provide coaching to SW/CS candidates in the following critical areas: (1) increase awareness (safety and proper techniques) for enhanced physical training standards through physical workout plans for SW/CS programs; (2) increase SW/CS program knowledge for candidates, to include the mental challenges of the training and techniques to combat these challenges; a basic understanding of the personal and professional demands of the SW/CS career fields/ and the rigors and stress of multiple deployments often into hostile areas, and (3) guidance on proper nutrition. Be available via text, telephone, in-person, e-mail, or face-to-face video devices to each SW/CS candidate until sent to BMT.
  • Maintain complete records that include: CDSS Developer’s travel log; training and development plan; and track progress of each candidate (pre-accession). At a minimum, progress reports shall include: candidate’s performance data for each exercise performed, progress report showing improved areas, as well as areas in need of improvement, timeframe in which progress needs to be reached/achieved. The contractor shall provide a monthly compilation of this data and assessments to AF SW/CS Program Manager within 10 business days after the end of the month.
  • Performance may require extensive travel. The contractor may be required to work some weekends and evenings, due the fact that many SW/CS candidates are attending school (high school or college) and will experience scheduling challenges.
Requirements:
  • 6 yrs Operational Experience (Post Graduation of 3-Level Course)
  • American Red Cross (Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid, provided by T3i)
  • Personal Trainer Certification (ACE/NASM/TSAC/Coopers/NSCA) *If applicant does not already have this cert. T3i will provide training material and reimburse for cost.

T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards. To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel. All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP. Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
