T3i is Hiring a Logistics/Supply Technician Near San Antonio, TX
Job Summary: T3I members are assigned to support Air Force Special Warfare Candidate Course (SWCC) training and development at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. SW operators are the only AF airmen specifically trained and equipped to primarily operate as surface combatants, where they conduct: Special Operations, Personnel Recovery, Joint Fires Integration, Tactical Airlift Operations, and Special Reconnaissance Operations. T3I, Inc. is seeking a full-time Logistics/Supply Technician to support SWCC operations and training. The technician will report to Head LG/Supply Tech and work for the T3I Program Manager (PM). The technician is critical to the planning, coordination, management and execution of daily logistic and supply operations, to include warehouse management of the entry level course. The effectiveness of this position is key to the PM’s overall ability to plan, manage, lead, and sustain the training program. The course is 7-weeks long and is conducted 6 times annually with student loads up to 230 per class. The position requires the technician to coordinate with personnel inside and outside of SWCC, including both military and civilian organizations as well as vendors. The technician must communicate effectively with all stakeholders and be able to multitask in a high pace environment in addition to being a self-starter requiring little oversight or management and aggressively seek out solutions to identified problems. Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary logistics point of contact for the program.
Manage all logistics involved with this program.
Distribute and appropriately handle and maintain inventories necessary to training.
Coordinate with leadership to ensure student bench stock levels remain available to train.
Attend staff, training, and scheduling meetings; be prepared to brief course logistic/supply status to leaders.
Direct, develop, and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the logistical actions required to support the course.
Coordinate with Leadership on facilities, budget, transportation, and procurement functions.
Identify possible facility issues or equipment enhancement to leadership for their determination of Unfunded Requirements needs.
Recommend the specific requirements for inventory levels and materials and correlate those requirements with program plans to ensure that the required materials are provided at the time and place.
Required Skills and Experience:
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess working knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems (computer programs), as well as a broad knowledge of logistical support
Possess specialized knowledge of logistics support activities involved including, but not limited to, maintaining inventory of all student, instructor, and staff equipment, as well as Government property.
Be able to pass a required background check: National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient with computers, e-mail, voicemail, and mobile messaging
Proficient with MS Office applications including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills & Experience:
Automated Logistics Information Systems experience is preferred, not required
Familiarity with DoD/Air Force terminology and procedures
Required Background Check: National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
Type of Employment: Full time T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards. To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.
