This individual will collaborate with the current Floral Instructional Coach, district Coach/Coordinator colleagues, and building-based leadership team. We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom. Experience in data cycle meetings, intervention planning and/or curriculum implementation are preferred.
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position with salary consistent with the Shrewsbury Education Association agreement.Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Works with building leadership to set measurable improvement goals for increased student achievement based on assessment data and observations, including assisting the principal in initiation of educational programs derived from identified needs of individual students and teachersLeads curriculum implementation efforts for K-4 general educators, including facilitating the adoption of EL Educations Literacy curriculum in all K-4 classrooms in 2024-2025. Provides direct support to all classroom teachers in implementing best instructional and assessment practices through consultation and coaching, including maintaining a robust schedule for meeting about teaching and learning and modeling instruction.
