**Job Description**
Seeking a District Manager who will be responsible for overall operations of the Jackson, MS branch and claims hub. DM will be responsible for client relations and retention, business development, team management/leadership, and the financial success of the Mississippi district. This position requires a blend of strategic and tactical operational skills for growth and service delivery.
**Essential Job Duties**
* Responsible for the overall operational performance of assigned offices/locations - recruiting, hiring, associate performance, customer satisfaction and results
* Set branch objectives, establish policies and procedures to assure compliance to best claim management services practices, state regulations, and client service requirements
* Monitor and improve efficiency of office operations
* Participate in business development efforts for growth of the district
* Lead by example - provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance
* Some travel required. Daily attendance in the Jackson, MS branch required
**Requirements**
* Bachelors degree in Business or related field; masters degree preferred. High-level, relevant experience substitutable for educational requirement
* Minimum 5 years of experience leading and coaching a successful team preferred
* Very strong level of independence and personal drive required
* Excellent communication skills, oral and written required
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required
* Strong customer orientation and accountability required
* Proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills preferred
* Knowledge of workers compensation laws beneficial. Experience in insurance, claims and/or risk management beneficial
* Requires regular and consistent attendance in the office in Jackson, MS and some overnight travel
