CorVel Corporation is Hiring a Remote Business Systems Analyst II - Customer Acceptance Testing

CorVel Corporation is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to coordinate customer integrations and to drive software feature improvement initiatives. The main aspect of this job will be overseeing the usage of our Customer Acceptance Testing environment, including planning test scenarios, scheduling integrations, working directly with Customers on workflow configuration and technical troubleshooting of issues. Secondary duties will include working with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to conduct data analysis, propose enhancements based on that analysis, and present these proposals to leadership. This position is highly visible within the organization and will involve both significant facetime with internal & external contacts and heads-down development & analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven history coordinating technical projects, demonstrated ability to assimilate business practices, and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. In addition, you must be a critical thinker, be highly organized, be able to see the big picture, possess a keen attention to detail, and have the patience to listen and understand but the conviction to speak up and explain your decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run and/or attend regular meetings with both Development teams & Project Stakeholders.
  • Schedule meetings as needed with Customers to coordinate integration testing.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on your assigned project areas.
  • Prioritize your assignments and deliver on time with minimal oversight.
  • Adhere to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of software.
  • Learn our business model and understand existing enterprise applications.
  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry, particularly in the medical billing area.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years as a Business Analyst or Product Manager OR 2 years in a Project Coordination, Project Management, or Team Lead role.
  • 2 years’ experience running and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Outstanding communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Familiarity with build/release processes and continuous integration.
  • Adept at learning new systems within your work environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines.

BONUS POINTS:

  • 2 years prior experience with hands-on software development.
  • Familiarity with APIs and Web Services integrations.
  • Proficient in testing tools and methodologies (a plus).

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $67,086 – $111,634
