SUMMARY

The Outside Operations Supervisor is responsible for greeting all Members and their Guests, supervising the bag room staff in: loading and unloading of golf bags, cleaning of carts, cleaning of clubs, care of the practice facility and organizing bag storage for Members and Guests. This individual must interact with the Membership on a daily basis and will lead the bag room team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Greeting all Members and their Guests with a warm greeting and a smile, also assuring that the bag room staff is doing the same.

• Responsible for scheduling of bag room staff.

• Coordinates with Director of Golf & Head Professional to ensure standards are being met.

• Coordinates with Director of Golf & Head Professional to ensure adequate staffing for daily play as well as tournament days.

• Facilitates cart repair for Members carts with appropriate vendors.

• Responsible for the distribution of Member cart certification stickers to registered carts only.

• Responsible for ordering proper supplies for bag room.

• Creates fleet cart maintenance schedule.

• Responsible for maintaining up to date bag storage roster including any applicable charges for storage.

• Responsible for proper set up and appearance of practice facility

• Responsible for maintaining practice facility, ensuring there are plenty of range balls on practice tee as well as chipping area.

• Responsible for enforcement of rules and dress code.

• Responsible for cleanliness of staging area as well as cart barn.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
