Our client in San Diego is looking to add a Jr. Accountant with legal expeirence to their team! Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the distribution of Accounts Receivable (A/R) reports to attorneys, ensuring timely follow-up as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with billers to obtain client invoice approvals and handle appeals efficiently.
• Secure attorney approvals for accounts payable invoices, accurately entering them into our accounting system.
• Meticulously apply incoming payments to the appropriate accounts, maintaining precise financial records.

Qualifications:

• Written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities, are paramount for success in this role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an accounting role within a law firm or professional services firm is essential.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver high-quality work while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferably experienced with Coyote or a similar time-billing accounting software.
• Proven ability to research and resolve errors or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to anticipate workload requirements and take initiative, requiring minimal direction.
• A dedication to exemplary customer service, with interpersonal and proactive communication skills.

salary: $52,000 - $58,000 per year
