We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a career in accounting. This position has potential for growth with increased responsibility and visibility and a chance to learn about non-profit accounting.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure accurate expense and invoice coding.
- Process employee expense reimbursements in accordance to company policy ensuring proper documentation requirements are met.
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries
- Enter payments into Lawson Accounting system with accurate coding
- Combine PDF documents for archiving to the invoice imaging program
- Process payments to vendors and employees
- Credit card processing for 2 company cards - expense coding and journal entry preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of experience in Account Payable
- Proficient data entry and computer skills, including basic MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and Accounting system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, time manage and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and a team player.
