Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

Conduct account reconciliations
Bookkeeping: Record financial transactions accurately and ensure that entries are posted correctly in the accounting system.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment collection, and vendor management.
• Assisting with Financial Reports: Prepare financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations of financial transactions
• Perform double-entry bookkeeping
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting
• Help with general ledger maintenance
• Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Experience with account analysis and financial report writing
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Exposure to public accounting is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,302.00 - $58,819.00 per year
