Seeking a Corporate Accountant to support the Controller in planning, directing and coordinating all financial and operational functions. The Controller will be responsible for leading the management, development, interpretation and administration of policies and processes relating to accounting, treasury, internal control, taxation and overall financial reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Planning, directing and coordinating all aspects of accounting operations
• Lead financial operations including oversight of key payment metrics, DSO, and collections rates
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results including measurement against budget
• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements and management reports
• Recommend and track benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of product segments
• Coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with lenders
• Coordinating activities of external auditors (including annual audit), directors and investors
• Manage the Company's day to day cash requirements
• Ongoing assessment of accounting, billing and collections operations, offering recommendations for improvements and implementing new processes
• Evaluating and implementing internal accounting controls as needed
• Thoughtful detailed leader in the preparation of financial plans and budgets
• Direct all local, state, and federal tax preparation
• Managing and growing a small team of finance and accounting professionals

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree; CPA/MBA preferred
• Demonstrated experience in all facets of financial and operational accounting including: A/P, variance analysis, project management, treasury, taxation and overall financial reporting
