TalentBurst is Hiring a Professional - Junior Tax Accountant Near Secaucus, NJ
Location: Secaucus, NJ 07094
Duration: 6 Months extendable contract
5 days in the office at first then it could go down to 2 to 3 days.
Shift Hours: 9am to 6pm Eastern Time, could be earlier or later. The manager can work out the flexibility on the hours with the candidate. There will be some overtime involved.
Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare check requests for co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions.
- Process co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions.
- Ensure the tax calendar is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with tax notices.
- Assist with preparation of federal 1120's and state income and franchise tax returns.
- Assist with preparation of state income / franchise tax returns.
- Assist with preparation of state tax estimates and extensions for various states.
- Assist with calculation of state and local tax apportionment factors.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Utilizes good time management and prioritizes tasks.
- Knowledge of CorpTax US Compliance tax software is a plus.
- Accounting or Finance Degree required
- Teams interview with video as a panel interview.
- Most likely the assignment will be longer than 6 months.
