We are looking to hire a Jr. accountant with an analytical mind and great teamwork skills. Junior accountants are expected to be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and meet department deadlines. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Post and apply daily payments. 

· Create credit and debit notes.

· Follow up with customers regarding payment status on open invoices.

· Verify customer resale certificates. 

· Reconcile customer accounts.

· Customer portal checks.

· Prepares bank reconciliations and credit card transactions. 

· Resolve accounts receivable issues and/or inquiries. 

· Prepare journal entries.

· Assist with tax filings in various government agencies. 

· Complete end-of-month closing procedures. 

· Perform other duties as needed.
