Description
Takes minutes at meetings and composes written minutes in a timely manner. Composes and types routine correspondence, as well as special reports.
Establishes and maintains files, correspondence, and other records. Also makes copies of correspondence as well.
Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate personnel and places outgoing calls. Schedules appointments for assigned staff.
Opens and distributes all incoming mail and sends outgoing mail and assists in department mailings.
Provides reception and telephone relief for Receptionist as needed. Greets visitors and directs visitors to appropriate person.
Orders office supplies and equipment (i.e., blood tubes, culture bottles, recorders, earpieces and accessories) used by Clinical Services department.
Arranges travel and lodging for conferences, seminars, and meetings for assigned staff.
Requirements
Associate's degree/equivalent or 2-4 yrs required related experience and/or training.
Must type 50 wpm and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
