Administrative Assistant / Optometric Assistant

Full-time, entry level position in a private, traditional, family optometric practice. $16.00 / hour. Training provided. Benefits after successfully completing the 60-day evaluation period. Ample free-parking in office parking lot. Metro bus stop at entrance of office parking lot. Close to Greenbelt Metro Station.

Full-time means:

• Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Wednesday and Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Job Responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients
• Assisting patients with paperwork
• Vision screening pre-testing
• Answering phone calls
• Filing
• Assisting the Senior Administrative Assistant with front desk tasks
