Dispensing Optician
Full-time, entry level position in a private, traditional, family optometric practice. $16.00 / hour. Training provided. Benefits after successful completion of the 60-day evaluation period. Ample free-parking in office parking lot. Metro bus stop at entrance to office parking lot. Close to Greenbelt Metro Station.
Full-time means:
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Wednesday and Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Job Responsibilities include:
- Writing up eyeglass and contact lens orders
- Dispensing
- Repairing and adjusting eyeglasses
- Assisting Senior Opticians with patient care, as needed
