Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Leadership Team. This highly visible role works independently to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of flexibility, integrity and professionalism. This position will also manage the corporate headquarters front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Interfaces with the Board, Supervisory Committee, and outside parties on behalf of the CEO utilizing good judgement in determining when to act independently and when to refer matters for further attention.
  • Anticipates the CEO’s needs and uses discretion to set priorities, provide support, and keep the CEO aware of communications, meetings, conferences, and other administrative priorities.
  • Manages the CEO’s calendar and contact database to prioritize requests and manage scheduling conflicts. Makes judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day- engagements.
  • Manages projects, events, and recurring activities to ensure appropriate outcomes and healthy collaboration across various projects and leadership teams.
  • Arranges and handles all logistics for Board and committee meetings and events: schedules meetings; drafts agendas, compiles, and uploads presentation materials, and minutes. Major events include Board Meetings, annual member meeting, strategic planning, and periodic sponsor leadership meetings.
  • Manages and/or collaborates to ensure corporate records for the Board and CEO are accurately managed and accessible, this includes but is not limited to the board portal, policies/standards, educational content, and other corporate records.

Ideal candidates will have a four-year college degree and at least 5 years of experience in an administrative function or a combination of education and work experience. Strong preference for experience supporting an executive and/or board of directors. Excellent communication, editing, and analytical skills are required. Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle situations with tact and diplomacy.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The ability to work a hybrid position is based on work performance and ability to maintain engaging work relationships.

The salary range of $65k - $80k is commensurate with experience.
