Contract Recruiter
Manhattan, New York (onsite 4 days per week, remote on Fridays)
This position is a 5-to-6-month contract role with the potential for conversion to a permanent position.
About The Opportunity:
A leading global real estate firm that specializes in the development, acquisition, management, and operation of premier properties across the world is searching for a Contract Recruiter to join their team.
As a Contract Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for overseeing full-cycle recruitment for junior to mid-level positions within the hospitality sector. This role will focus on roles such as Sales Managers, Purchasing Managers, Chefs, Hosts, Stewards, and Banquet Managers. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, this position will support the HR team with background and reference checks, job description postings, and ensuring consistency across the career site and job boards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hospitality roles, from sourcing to offer stage.
- Handle a requisition load of 12-20 open positions at any given time.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability for hospitality positions.
- Assist HR team with background checks, reference checks, and job description postings.
- Ensure consistency in job postings across the company's career site and external job boards.
- Utilize Workday (HRIS system) for recruitment and HR-related tasks.
- Provide exceptional candidate experiences throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices.
- Experience using ATS systems, particularly Workday.
- Proficiency in sourcing candidates through job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
