Position:Recruiter 

Role: contract basis for 3 months initially with potential to extend as business scales

Position Overview

We are looking for smart, business and tech savvy, and collaborative RecruitersThey will report to our VP, Searchlove what they do, write persuasively and have experience in design orrelated recruitmentThey will need to develop meaningful relationships with clients and candidates, thereby enhancing Vee’s ability to attract and engage top talent.

General Responsibilities

  • Driveend-to-end retained search and recruitment process including sourcing and qualifying candidates, assessing cultural fit, consulting to client hiring managers,facilitating the extension and acceptance of offers to close
  • Participate in search kickoff meetings to review objectives and develop/refine project plans and timelines 
  • Contribute to/execute on search and research strategies, sourcing candidates from networks, referrals,professional networking groups/sites and other sources
  • Identify and assess candidates quickly and thoroughly, guiding them through our screening and evaluation processes
  • Provide a positive experience for clients, candidates and colleagues throughout the search process
  • Develop meaningful relationships in a manner that is consistent with Vee’s purpose, brand and values 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage searches within established timelines to meet key milestone
  • Contribute to search-specific research strategies; conduct primary/secondary research
  • Report on resultsin status meetings daily, including growth in candidate pools and pipeline progresssharingnewlearnings and successes, addressing roadblocks,redirecting research strategy
  • Keep ATS and Office 365 and Sharepointup-to-date
  • Prepare/present candidate materials, including resumes, work samples, and profiles
  • Provide input for client search status reports and other documentation 
  • Prepare candidates for interviews, coaching them on resume and sample presentation 
  • Coordinate client and candidate interviews

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or field related to our focus areas
  • 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in retained search
  • Tech fluency and platform agnosticism. Fast self-learner on different platforms, program and apps related to talent sourcing, recruitment and CRMGreenhouse and Hiretualexperience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills 
  • Strong engagement and relationship building skills
  • Experience in design or related recruitment - UX, innovationstrategy, experience, product and industrial design, digital media, marketing and/or communications preferred
