The pay rate for this job is $17.50 / hour
What you'll be doing as an Assembly Line Worker
- Assemble torque converters on a production line according to established assembly procedures and specifications
- Install components such as impeller, stator, turbine, lock-up clutch, and bearings into torque converter housing
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of components
- Inspect parts and components for defects or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Perform quality checks at each stage of the assembly process to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including cleaning and lubricating equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and productivity
- Meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader

Job requirements:
- Prior experience in assembly line work, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy components
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some Welding experience and knowledge
- Background check and drug screening required
