Optometric Assistant/Receptionist

Busy Optometry Clinic in Puyallup is looking for a mature, motivated and friendly individual to join our team. Ideal candidate must have exceptional phone, customer service skills and professional appearance. Candidates must be detail oriented and be able to multitask and be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment. Optical background is not required
Duties:
Greet patients in a professional manner
Schedule appointments
Confirming appointments
Insurance verification and Insurance Billing
Pretesting-using automated equipment
Training patients with Contact Lens Insertion and Removal Training
Reconcile daily receipts received
Keep up with office appearance
Ordering CL Trials
Familiarity with EHR-we use Crystal Pm software
This is a part time position 3 to 4 days a week. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
