Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service at the front desk
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Assist with retail sales of eyewear and contact lenses
- Perform medical billing and coding tasks
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Assist with pediatric patient care as needed
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Epic) to input and retrieve patient information
- Provide support to the optometrist during patient exams and procedures

Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues
- Knowledge of retail math for sales transactions and inventory management
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Epic
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and data entry
