Small cozy optometry office in San Jose seeking an optometric assistant/receptionist to work Monday-Friday regular hours. No weekend. Compensation is based on experience and skills (competitive hourly rate). We offer paid holidays, paid time-off, 401k retirement plan with company contribution, and employee discount.

Candidate must be a mature, reliable, and detail-oriented person with good interpersonal skills. Experience preferred, but not required. Prefer someone who can speak some Spanish. Will train the right person.

Duties may include:

1) Answer phone calls and schedule appointments;

2) Bill insurances (VSP, EYEMED, Medicare, etc);

3) Process payments;

4) Data entries and filing;

5) Customer frame dispensing and adjustment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
