Insero Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for an Area Property Manager (Direct Hire) position for a Property Management client located in Rochester, NY. This person will be responsible for success of their portfolio. Personnel management and customer service are key parts of being successful in this role.

Duties:

• Ensures oversight of property sites, monitoring various aspects including occupancy, delinquency, compliance, turnover, maintenance.

• Collaborate with Development and Construction Teams and VP of Property Management

• Understand and adhere to regulatory documents for each property, including Management Plans, Management Agreements, relocation plans, lease documents, and housing and service agreements.

• Ensure all requirements specified in regulatory documents are met within the portfolio.

• Coordinates with HR on staffing, training and performance

• Develop and oversee annual budgets and monthly reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or five years related experience
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proven positive experience with supervising others
• Experience working with affordable housing
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to property locations (locally)
